The Kererwe Education Scholarship Initiative (KESI) - Empowering the Future through Education
For decades, girls in rural Uganda—especially in Bushenyi District—have faced cultural and economic barriers to education. The Kererwe Education Scholarship Initiative (KESI) is changing this narrative by providing scholarships, mentorship, and community support to empower girls, promote equality, and build a brighter future for Uganda.
In rural Uganda, education gives knowledge — but mentorship gives direction. Through the Kererwe Education Scholarship Initiative (KESI), young learners, especially girls, gain confidence, guidance, and life skills that empower them to dream bigger and lead change in their communities.
At KESI, sponsorship and volunteering turn compassion into action. Every sponsor and volunteer helps a child in rural Uganda stay in school, gain mentorship, and build a brighter future — one learner at a time.
